Comparing SSDs and HDDs
HDDs are a legacy storage technology that use spinning disks to read/write data. SSDs are faster and more power-efficient than HDDs. HDDs are priced lower, but SSD prices are dropping.HDD has been around for a while. Now it is time to replace it with more powerful and fast Solid State Drive commonly known as SSD. SSD uses integrated circuit to store data, unlike Hard Disk Drive it does not have any moving parts. Thus it is more power efficient and noise-free. The speed is tremendous in SSD comparing with the traditional HDD. This is the single component that you can upgrade to get a huge performance difference. Although SSD's are more costly I would like to recommend you to a smaller SSD just for the operating system.Specification.
